What is BioDrip?

Drip irrigation is the process of delivering precise amounts of water directly to the plants root zone area. Drop by drop offering gardeners exact irrigation control and efficient use of limited water resources.

BioDrip, a new development from a world leading manufacturer of cutting edge irrigation technology, is now available in the UK from Watermatic Ltd, established and reputable irrigation experts leading the market in the south east.

The revolutionary BioDrip, due to its small 12mm diameter and wall thickness is durable and tough. It is by far the best product on the market today for drip irrigation above ground and below.

BioDrip is pressure regulated and pressure compensated. This means that the same amount of water will be discharged from each drip point throughout the length of the pipe, regardless of length.

BioDrip is placed exactly where you want to water with slow, even water distribution at 1.10 litres per hour from the 30cm spaced drip points. The unique non leakage mechanism facility prevents any water loss at the end of the water cycle, and is therefore an ideal solution for slopes or other uneven surfaces.

Each BioDrip point has two holes even though it has a built in filter and is self cleaning. Each point also has an anti siphon mechanism and is uniquely anti root preventative.

BioDrip is the most water conserving irrigation method available in the world. Sprinklers and sprayers loose water due to evaporation, mist, surface run off or wind.

BioDrip is cost effective, saves labour and time. This drip line uses 50% less plastic during manufacture compared to the usual 16mm drip line. This saves on material cost as well as being environmentally beneficial.

Why BioDrip?

After many years of research our revolutionary 12mm dripline is now available. Easy to use and install, BioDrip is a top quality, flow regulated, economical irrigator with huge consumption savings over "leaking pipes".

A hose or porous pipe uses 1000's of litres per hour, unlike BioDrip which has slow release of 1.15 litres per hour per drip point. No wasting water! The non leakage, anti siphon mechanism prevents drainage or flooding at the end of the pipe line.

BioDrip provides accurate, reliable and efficient irrigation solutions for all domestic or commercial needs. Flexible but highly durable it is ideal for slopes and difficult locations. Tailor made for curved, angular or narrow planting areas. Laid singularly or 30cm apart in parallel lines, BioDrip gives superior water distribution.

BioDrip can be installed on the surface or sub surface. Each self cleaning drip point has a root prevention mechanism so is resistant to clogging. Environmentaly friendly, with built in UV resistance and made of polyetheline it ensures long life with no replacement for years, unlike perishable rubber. You wont buy better!

How is it installed?

BioDrip is easy to install. Flexible and adaptable it fits in tight awkward shaped areas that are hard to water with conventional systems.

No moving parts to repair. Simply a black 12mm drip pipe you lay on the surface or subsurface. It can also be hidden under mulch or bark chippings. For new lawns we recommend to lay BioDrip to a depth of up to 10cm/6”. The gaps between the laid BioDrip lines should be 30cm for even distribution of water. This will create a carpet of water for the plant roots to absorb.
