What is the Hose Pipe Ban Buster?

With the Ban Buster there is no need to lose your beautiful and valuable shrubs, trees and bedding plants due to the ban on hosepipe watering. It is legal, responsible, eco-friendly, and will save money on your metered water bills.

Ban Buster *Diverter*

Your bath sink and shower water is diverted to this 50 litre unit which instantly pumps the filtered water directly to your garden. You can use different methods to distribute this water i.e hose and sprinkler, drip irrigation or an existing irrigation system.

Ban Buster *Accumulator*

Different to the Diverter, the Accumulator will store several bath and shower waters, how much depending on the size of tank chosen. Any size tank can be supplied and installed, starting from 100 litre. An irrigation computer can control where and when this accumulated water will be distributed to your garden, via your chosen irrigation method. Rain water can also be collected into this tank.

Can it be installed at my house?

It can be installed in any property providing the drain pipes are external. On new build houses most drain pipes are internal and inaccessible. New build houses can still collect rain water.

What about maintenance?

The system must be serviced for the winter. The filter must be cleaned regularly.

Is there Warranty and Support?

The Ban Buster has a 12 month guarantee. Watermatic Ltd have a help desk which can answer any queries you may have.

Where can I buy it?

You can purchase the 50 litre Hosepipe ban buster, the 100 and 240 litre accumulator directly from Watermatic Ltd for DIY installation.

Who can install the Ban Buster?

You can purchase a DIY home assembly version to install yourself or with the help of a plumber. Alternatively, Watermatic can install the Ban Buster system if you live in London or the Home Counties.
